-At the 2013 Memramcook LeBlanc reunion we adopted a colour scheme to identify participants. Each of Daniel's son was given a colour. Upon registration a color will be added to your name tag according to which son of Daniel you are a descendant of (ie: yellow for Jacques). If you don't know your lineage this infoirmation will be available at the family kiosks or on Stephen White's genealocical mural on site.

 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Family gathering- information kiosks, sharing of family history.

You are welcome to bring a lunch although food and bar will be available on site throughout the day.

Special musical presentation by Marie-Jo Thériault during the afternoon. Details to come.

1:00 pm

Lecture with Stephen White. There will be two lectures:

-The first, in French, at 1:00pm, is entitled "The LeBlanc during the expulsions of  the Royale and Saint-Jean Islands in 1745 and 1758.

-The Second, in English, at 2:00pm, is entitled "The LeBlanc and their DNA".

LeBlanc Mass. 

The regular Saint-Jacques parish saturday mass will be held on August 16th at 4:00 pm to the intentions of the LeBlanc. We will participate in the lectures and the music. It will therefore be possible for participants to attend mass and return to the arena in time for supper.

Supper will be available on site. Tickets on sale at the Canteen. On the menu, Gumbo prepared by our Louisiana friends and corn on the cob.

7:00 pm

Evening of music with LeBlanc musicians.

Two groups are already confirmed:

-Renaissance Cadienne  -A Cajun folk troup from Lafayette Louisiana

-The Bayou Hotshots  -The four musicians who play with Renaissance Cadienne also perform as a traditional Cajun band. They promise to keep us dancing all night with "les danses du vieux temps" and the member of the troup have volunteered to teach us the old Cajun dances. Aïïïïïïïïïï!!!
